Iské- The nomads of Iské are poor merchants that float the surrounding waters. Outcasts of society, they live on the fringes and mostly keep to themselves. They live together with the demons, who, with the stigma attached to their name, are also outcasts. They hate the planes people of Tine most, at odds over the vampires that often pray on their people. The relations between them and the mountain people are also stressed over the section of land that they often make camp on up river, because they cannot land on Tines side, out of fear of death. The mountain people regard them as dirty and untrustworthy. Those living in the mines of Mittal do not generally like or give much respect to the them, but the nomads do the most trading with them. The best of their relations is with Achmad forest dwellers, they give shells and other gathered sea trinkets to the artisans to use in their fine creations. The nomadic people who make a living off of the sea live on large, flat boats and barges that are made to travel in both the bay and on the river. Clans often will dock together in a large group of boats so they can watch out for the meremaids that lurke about.
